چکیده
Abstract The current work assesses the sandstones of Mutulla Formation as well limestone Thebes for being promising new oil reservoirs in Rabeh East field at southern portion Gulf Suez Basin. This assessment has been achieved through petrophysical evaluation wireline logs three wells (RE-8, RE-22 and RE-25). visual analysis data revealed that RE-25 Well is only demonstrating positive criteria five zones potential reservoirs. favourable zone within locates between depths 5084 ft 5100 (Zone A). However, other occur depths: 5403.5–5413.5 B), 5425.5–5436 C), 5488–5498 D) 5558.5–5563.5 E). quantitative shows Zone A best oil-bearing terms reservoir quality since it exhibits lowest shale volume (0.07), minimum water saturation (0.23) bulk (0.03). These beds include type secondary porosity beside existing primary porosity. On hand, contain four (B, C, D E) with total net pay thickness 35.5 ft. Moreover, obtained results expected B, C to produce without but E will water.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Review of Well Logs and Petrophysical Approaches for Shale Gas in Sichuan Basin, China
China has vast reserves of shale gas. Currently, shale gas is one of the focuses of the unconventional reservoir. Well logs play an import role in shale gas production, and it is the bridge connecting geology, geophysics and petroleum engineering. In the exploration stage, well logs are used to identify lithology, evaluate the parameters of mineral types and compositions, total organic carbon (...

The integration between new technologies (Natural Gamma-ray Spectrometry log tool, magnetic resonance, etc.), characterization methodologies (probabilistic evaluation, crossplots analysis) and core data (petrophysical and petrological data and sedimentologic description) is very important to identify diagenetic constraints for reservoir quality in shaly-sand reservoirs in order to build a more ...
متن کاملA Crossplot for Mud Logging Interpretation of Unconventional Gas Shale Reservoirs and its Application
The drilling time data of gas logging are used to calculate drilling time ratio of the reservoir, and the total hydrocarbon data are used to calculate hydrocarbon contrast coefficient and to establish the drilling time ratio--hydrocarbon contrast coefficient crossplot. The standards of distinguishing the boundaries of hydrocarbon zones, hydrocarbonaceous water layers and dry layers are determin...
متن کاملListeria spp. in the coastal environment of the Aqaba Gulf, Suez Gulf and the Red Sea.
Listeria monocytogenes is an important pathogen which causes an infection called listeriosis. Because of the high mortality rate (~30%) associated with listeriosis, and the widespread nature of the organism, it is a major concern for food and water microbiologists since it has been isolated from various types of foods, including seafood, as well as from the aqueous environment. To investigate t...
